Hydrogen 0.9.7 is released.

Hydrogen is an advanced drum machine and pattern based programming app that is available for Ubuntu, Linux and Windows as well. This free and open source app is used to create the sound of drums, cymbals, other percussion instruments.

Recently Hydrogen 0.9.7 is released after years of development cycles and it comes with lots of bug fixes and more than 10+ improvements. You can read the entire change log here.

How to Install

To install Hydrogen in Ubuntu, Linux Mint and other derivatives, use below PPA and commands. Note that latest version is not yet available in below PPA, which would be available in coming days. However, you can still go ahead and use the earlier version using this.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kxstudio-team/hydrogen
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt install hydrogen

 

Once installed, launched it from Dash.
