Fractional scaling was a “work-in-progress” in Ubuntu for quite some, and it was experimentally released in earlier versions. And now, it has been officially integrated from Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
Enable Fractional Scaling in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS & 22.04 LTS
- Open the applications menu and search for “Settings“.
- On the left pane of the Settings dialog, click on Displays.
- Now, select scaling percentage – whatever you like and click apply.
- If you are satisfied with the display after applying the scaling factor, click “Keep changes”. Or else select “revert changes”, and you will be back to your original settings.
