Unity Tweak Tool lets you configure the Unity desktop.

The famous Ubuntu Tweak tool is not available in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Xenial Xerus. The deb installer of Ubuntu Tweak tool that is available in official website is for Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty and lower releases. Even if you are trying to install it in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, you will get dependency error for the package gir1.2-vte-2.90, because Xenial Xerus comes with the updated version of the package gir1.2-vte-2.91.

Some readers of debugpoint.com was asking for any alternative to Ubuntu Tweak tool. Well, we have an alternative to the same – Unity Tweak Tool.

Features

You can configure almost all features of Unity using this tool. You can change themes, icons, cursors and fonts. The window manager options are also available – Zoom, Animations, Workspaces, Window spread, Window snapping, Hotcorners etc.

And yes, it also supports the option to move the Unity Launcher to bottom of the screen in Xenial Xerus.
